Intro to Long Form Improv

On this course you will be introduced to the wonders of long form improv. Using scenes and forms in place of the games of short form, long form improv is built for creating funny, moving and interesting work. You'll explore a range of techniques and styles of long form, culminating in an optional graduation show at the end of the course.

This course is for anyone that has covered the improv fundamentals - e.g. completed out Level 1 course of equivalent with another improv school.

We have a minimum of 6 students required to run the course - if we have low numbers, we will be in touch in the week leading up to the first lesson to let you know that we may have to postpone the course - but this hardly ever happens!

Coach

Danny O'Hara

Danny is a kind, supportive and experienced coach. A founder member of Dogface Improv, she brings with her a wealth of experience of many theatrical and improv styles from a life working in theater, performance and wellbeing. Danny is currently a member and creator of "The Guest" format and one-half of Dogface house team Bendy House who have performed at The Copenhagen International Improv Festival and several times at the Edinburgh Fringe. Danny has trained at IO Chiciago, Second City, The Free Association, The Nursery and with a wealth of wonderful improvisers across the globe.
