Dogface Improv was founded in 2016, and since then we have grown into a vibrant community of improvisers in Norwich, UK. We run improv courses, workshops, jams and shows. We welcome everyone to come and play - there are no barriers to taking part in this art-form, and we believe everyone can get something out of improv.
Since our humble beginnings, we now have weekly shows, regular courses and workshops. We have played hundreds of shows in Norfolk and further afield, have had teams perform many times at the Edinburgh fringe and have run over 200 improv courses. We also welcome teachers from around the UK and further afield to come and share their knowledge and experience with our community.
Our aim is to create safe and supportive spaces for anyone to express themselves and have fun.
We have members from ages 18-80, with differing physical needs (everything we do is wheelchair accessible), different backgrounds and neurodiversity. We try to make our spaces as welcoming and inclusive as possible - if you know of a way we can do even better, then please let us know.
We've also run many corporate and wellbeing workshops for organisatoins such as the NHS, Cambridge University and the mental health charity MIND.
