12 Hour Narrative: Volunteer Call Out

We would love those who are not performing in the upcoming 12 Hour Narrative show to help make it a success.

All roles are voluntary and unpaid. We welcome any help, for however much time you can spare.

After volunteering, you will receive a link to a second questionnaire about allergies and any accommodations we can make for you.

About the roles

Stage management: Ensure the cast are ready to go, let the director know when all participants have been announced on stage, tidy backstage and keep walkways clear.
Food and drink: Keep the hot-water flasks topped up, look after the kitchen, ensure no extra food that may contain allergens is added to the snack table, and collect donations towards food costs.
Usher: Show people to their seats, keep walkways clear, help with food and drink, and make sure audience members have come in from the car park before an episode starts.
Stage set up: Put out audience chairs, tape down wires, help put up the back curtain, and set up the cast room and backstage area.
Stage take down / clear down: Put chairs away, take up wires, remove any set, and return the rooms to their original state.
Box office: Check tickets on the door, sell tickets, act as the first point of contact at the main entrance to the hall, and check that we do not exceed maximum capacity.
Raffle draw: Sell raffle tickets for the prize draw and look after the money collected.
General assistant to show producers: Sit near the director and pass on things they need to be aware of.
