Scene Painting Workshop
Sunday 25th May 2025 - 11:00 to 13:00
Improv scenes generally have no scenery but at the same time they can have as realistic or as magical a set as the performers want.
It's all made up and free, so why not? In this workshop we're going to look at scene painting in longform scenes - describing the physical setting that our characters find themselves in. Add authenticity and interest to your scenes, know that you’re in the same space as your partner and enjoy playing with stuff and space you’ve made.
We'll be trying out different ways to paint scenes and improvise within the 'set' you have created. This workshop is suitable for anyone who has done some longform improv and wants to make their scenes more visual.
