Improv Comedy for Beginners
📅 Past Event
This event has already taken place
Monday 15th September to Monday 20th October 2025 in Norwich
6 week evening course - Monday evenings, 19:30 to 21:30
This course is for anyone who wants to do it! Let our experienced improv coaches introduce you to the principles of this wonderful art form.
Perfect for people with no previous improv, comedy or performance experience or improvisers who are a bit rusty. You don't have to want to be a performer - come and discover the positive effects of fun, laughter and creative expression.
What to expect
- Group games and exercises
- Creating and playing characters in a variety of scenes
- Lots of laughter!
We have a minimum of 6 students required to run the course - if we have low numbers, we will be in touch in the week leading up to the first lesson to let you know that we may have to postpone the course - but this hardly ever happens!
Venue
Norwich Puppet Theatre, St James, Whitefriars, Norwich,
